The Soldotna City Council will meet in a Special Emergency Meeting on Thursday, March 19 at 5 p.m. to conduct a public hearing regarding emergency powers for the City Manager, suspending restrictions on teleconference council attendance, and other preemptive measures to minimize the transmission of COVID-19.
The Special Emergency Meeting will be held in the Soldotna City Hall Council Chambers. To reduce possible transmission of COVID-19, most of the elected body will be attending via telephone.
The meetings are open to the public; however, to promote social distancing, the City Clerk respectfully asks that any person interested in participating in the public discussion, please send written comments to [email protected] in advance of the meeting. All comments received prior to the meeting will be published on the city website at Soldotna.org.
