The Soldotna Stars baseball team stranded 11 runners on base and managed to plate just three runs in a 7-3 non-conference loss to the Homer Mariners on Wednesday in Homer.
The Stars manufactured a pair of first-inning runs on a couple errors and a pair of RBI singles by Jacob Boze and Brennan Werner; however, SoHi scored only one additional run in the game. David Michael lead the offense going 2 for 2 and scoring two runs.
SoHi travels to Kodiak for Southcentral Conference baseball games on Friday and Saturday, May 10-11.
