Homer Residence Raided By FBI Wednesday

The home of Paul and Marilyn Hueper, the owners of the Homer Inn and Spa, was raided by FBI agents on Wednesday, April 28th. Through social media, they state that 12 agents showed up at the home, interrogated them, and searched their house. The Huepers confirmed that they were in Washington D.C. on January 6th rallying in support of then President Donald Trump. FBI reportedly showed up to the Homer residence looking for Nancy Pelosi’s laptop allegedly stolen from the night of the January 6th Washington D.C. insurrection.

In speaking to KSRM’s the Bird’s Eye View, Paul Hueper said:

Paul Hueper: “They had somehow dug those up out of my Instagram file, which I guess they’ve got the right to, I get that. They showed me, you know “Ok, is this you here?” I’m like “Yes, that’s me.”

“And this your wife in front of you?”

“That’s my wife she’s just walking up to the Capital steps, but we’re still, you know a hundred yards away from the front of the Capital.”

Bob Bird: “So they had pictures going up the steps?”

Paul Hueper: “Yes, of Marylyn, and I took a picture of her going up the steps. Which I had posted, so, ok no big deal. The next picture shown of the woman inside of the Capital, and they are like “Ok, is this your wife?” I’m like, “No. She’s got hot sexy leather boots on, I kind of like those. Maybe, I’ll ask her if she can get me a pair.” But, I’m like “No that’s not wife.” And then they said “Are you sure?” I’m like “Yeah, we didn’t even go inside the building.” We were at most within a hundred yards of the front of building. I mean we were in a sea of million people, so we’re far enough back. Then, I started to kind of understand what the process of what they were looking for, you know again the case of mistaken identity.”

Marilyn Hueper details her encounter with the FBI Wednesday morning:

Marilyn Hueper: “Our bedroom is blacked out because that’s the way we sleep in Alaska. They woke us up, we’re late risers, they actually told us that the came by at 7 and knocked, but no one responded. So they went to breakfast and then came back. And nobody knocked, so they broke the door open and then drew guns and came in and as Paul said, you know, called us out of our rooms and handcuffed us.”

Chloe Martin, Public Affairs Officer with the FBI Anchorage Field Office confirmed to KSRM:

Martin: “On April 28th, yesterday, the FBI was conducting Port Authorized Law Enforcement Activity at the location that you are talking about.”
