The latest season of the Great Food Truck Race with the contestants competing across Alaska is airing Sunday nights on the Food Network. Host Tyler Florence took the teams to Alaska where they battle each other and the elements to see who can prep and sell the most food.

The show that airs this Sunday, March 21st is the episode that was filmed in Homer. Many across the Kenai Peninsula flocked to Homer to see the competition in person in November. Jan Knutson with the Homer Chamber of Commerce spoke to KSRM on that episode that was filmed in Homer, “We had three of them here in the Homer Chamber parking lot on Saturday afternoon and Sunday another at Grace Ridge, another at Alice’s. They ran out of food! It was so popular. We opened up the Chamber that Saturday afternoon. We had over 260 people come to the three food trucks here.”

Through Season 14, viewers will watch the teams travel all across Alaska. So far, contestants visited Anchorage and Palmer where they served up large vegetables. Contestants will also visit Seward where they will pan for gold and partake in an Alaskan crab challenge and the village of Talkeetna where they will engage in a scavenger hunt before the season concludes with the remaining teams battling it out in Fairbanks.

The show airs Sunday, March 21st at 9:00 p.m. Alaska time. For more information click here.
