The Outage was caused by a down power line near the Beaver Creek Area. Which HEA crews have fixed.
The outage which originally effected roughly 1,200 members has been restored to roughly 200. Bruce Shelley with HEA, says that crews are still working to restore power to the final 1,000 members.

Homer Electric crews are responding to a power outage effecting 348 members in the Soldotna/Kenai area.
As of 11:30 am the total members with out power ranged from Kenai, Soldotna and K-Beach areas.
HEA crews are working to restore power to the effective members. Refresh for updates as they are made available.
