Work Starting On Sterling Highway

The Department of Transportation is starting work, tonight, on the Sterling Highway between Soldotna and Sterling. DOT Spokesperson Gary Walklin said the work is between Forest Lane and the weigh station.

He said the one-lane evening restriction will take place throughout DOT’s paving process with a pace car. He also said this work doesn’t widen the highway with additional lanes.
