Calling all Young Artists!

The Kenai Peninsula Birding Festival’s PEEPs Young Artist Exhibit is seeking submissions from your little John James Audubon! All bird themed submissions will be on display the month of May at the Kenai Fine Arts Center with an Opening Reception, Friday May 2, 6-8pm.  Awards will be announced at the Kenai Peninsula Birding Festival Reception, Thursday, May 15 at the Kenai Visitors Center. 29th Annual Kenai Peninsula Sport, Rec & Trade Show

Friday May 2nd from 3pm to 7 am

Saturday May 3rd from 9am to 7 pm

Sunday May 4th from 11am to 5pm

This year we will continue to offer our “Passport” program. Show attendees receive stamps from specified vendors at the show in order to enter the daily drawing of $100.00 cash and the GRAND PRIZE of a 51″ Big screen television provided by Kenai Peninsula Satellite. Admission is $5.00 per adult, $4.00 for children and seniors. Children under 10 are FREE.


Safe Kids Kenai Peninsula Water Safety Event

May 3, 2014 10am-2pm


Free Water Safety Event for children ages 4-14.  Parents/caregivers must attend with child (but do not have to get in water). Arrive anytime during the event hours and rotate safety stations. Allow appox 1 1/2-2 hrs to rotate through all stations.  Children need swimsuits and towels.
