West Side Commercial Fishery Has Been Average at Best

As the commercial fishermen are just getting started with fishing on the east side of the Cook Inlet, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game reports that the west side of the Cook Inlet has been experiencing only an average season, at best, during the month of June.  Pat Shields is with the Soldotna office for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.  On Friday, he discussed the west side fishery with us.
