10/12/12

Tomorrow’s Foreclosures auction at the Soldotna High School auditorium could generate up to $74,110 in  outstanding taxes  for the Borough. Dan Conetta with the Kenai Peninsula Borough’s Land Management Division described the 36 properties available…

Conetta: “Some have structures on them, most of them don’t. Most of them are just raw land. So the parcels that we have, 36 now, a few have dropped out. We originally had 40, now we have 36.”

Conetta also described the actual process on the day…

Conetta: “What they’ll see, they’ll come in, registration starts at 9 o’clock. We’re going to try to get the auction going by 10.15. They’ll come in and register at first and then we’ll move into the auditorium, the Soldotna High School auditorium, that’s where the auction’s being held. We have an auctioneer running this for us, Grubstake auctioneers, and we’re going to go from there.”
