Vote No on One Says Referendum Would Lead to Failure

Posted: March 19, 2014 at 12:30 pm

A joint Kenai/Soldotna Chamber of Commerce will hear today why Alaskans should “Vote No on 1.” Al Hull will be speaking about why SB 21 is the best oil tax strategy for the state.

Kenai Chamber’s Johna Beech…

Beech: “Last year, the legislature passed the oil tax reform, and then a group of concerned citizens got together and collected signatures to repeal that tax reform, and so that’s going to be on the ballot this fall.”

If you missed today’s presentation…

Beech: “We’ll have these guys back a couple more times leading up to the election.”

    PLEASE VOTE YES ON SB21!!

WE NEED TO TAKE BACK OUR OIL WEALTH FROM THE BIG OIL COMPANIES!!

YOU KNOW, IF PARNELL S OPPOSED TO SB22, WE ALL NEED TO BE IN FAVOR OF SB21.

  • John says:

Look at the profits of these oil companies and then tell me they need more tax breaks. If they want to shut down production and leave we would be better off. The worst that would happen is that it would make room for smaller private U.S. companies to take over and actually increase the economic benefit to the State.

  • Tim says:

    Just Vote No On 1!

  • bill says:

Repeal SB 21, vote yes to stop the give-away.

Repeal of SB 21 will not lead to failure.

Failure to repeal SB 21 will lead to economic ruin for Alaska.

The only people who like SB 21 are the oil corporations and their lackeys. They want the free money and they’ll tell you anything at all to try to fool you into giving it to them.

    Vote Yes on repeal.
