Rombach says the consultant on the project, Cape International, utilizes this snapshot to make projections for future traffic.

Rombach says CIRCAC received enough funding to cover the cost of these two studies; but will need another $500,000 to complete the work of the Cook Inlet Risk Assessment Advisory Panel. Rombach says potential contributors actually sit on the advisory panel and represent the commercial fishing industry, local ports and harbors, commercial shipping and the oil and gas industry.
