With the freezing rain coming in the area last night, you’ll be waking up to particularly slick conditions this morning.

Carl Horst with DOT says that they’re working on it but needs the assistance of the community.

 If you do not need to get out early this morning, you are advised not to, if you do take to the roads the morning, the Kenai Police Department urges people to drive slowly and insure that there is plenty of room between you and the other cars on the road.
