State Troopers say two man have been arrested in connection with a burglary on Pioneer Drive in Soldotna on Sunday. Troopers were called to the location at 9:15 p.m. on the report of a possible burglary in progress. Troopers say they located two subjects fleeing from the area. The two men were identified as 29-year-old Thimothy Beltz, of Soldotna, and 22-year-old Jacob Cosselman of Michigan.
Troopers say their investigation revealed that Beltz and Cosselman made entry into an unoccupied home in the area by breaking a bedroom window. Once inside, the men broke numerous items inside, including the glass door to an oven, a flat screen television, a glass-pane door, and many other belongings. The total damage was estimated to be about $10,000.
Beltz and Cosselman were arrested and transported to Wildwood Pretrial where they were remanded without bail on the charges of Burglary and Criminal Mischief.
