Troopers Respond to Two-Vehicle Accident on K-Beach Rd

Monday April 29th at approximately 9:55pm, the Soldotna Alaska State Troopers responded to the intersection of K-Beach Road and College Loop Road in Soldotna for the report of a two vehicle collision.

AST investigation revealed a 1997 GMC Sierra, driven by 17-year-old Zane Miller of Soldotna was traveling east on College Loop Road and failed to yield to a 1993 Geo Metro traveling north on K-Beach Road, driven by 28-year-old Christopher Colelli of Soldotna.

The GMC Sierra was driven from the scene. The Geo Metro was towed from the scene.

No injuries were reported to the troopers.

Mr. Miller was issued a citation of driver to exercise due care to avoid a collision.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision.

The GMC Sierra sustained minor damage and the Geo Metro sustained major damage.
