Troopers Arrest Reckless Driver in Soldotna

Sunday afternoon, just before 3:30pm, the Alaska State Troopers received a REDDI report regarding a dangerous driver reportedly crossing the roadway into oncoming traffic and almost running over a pedestrian near mile 93 of the Sterling Highway.

Troopers were able to locate the vehicle and further investigation revealed that 47-year-old Cornell Constantine of Soldotna, was under the influence of alcohol.

Constantine was subsequently arrested on the charge of DUI and transported to Wildwood Pretrial, where he was held without bail. AST wishes to thank the REDDI caller for their assistance.
