Sunday morning at roughly 3:30am, the Alaska State Troopers in Soldotna received a 911 call about a strange man standing on a person’s front porch refusing to leave, in Sterling. Troopers responded and contacted 30-year-old Philip Kneeland of Sterling.

During the contact with Mr. Kneeland, it was discovered he had a switchblade knife in his pocket and was too intoxicated to care for himself.
