Troopers Arrest Soldotna Man on Weapons Charges after REDDI Report

Tuesday July 2nd just before 2:00am, the Alaska State Troopers contacted 49-year-old Kenneth Ibsen of Soldotna, after receiving a REDDI (Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately) report that a vehicle he was operating was swerving all over the road near mile 49 of the Seward Highway in the area of Summit Lake.

Trooper investigation revealed that Ibsen, a convicted felon, was in possession of a pistol, as well as, a small amount of marijuana.

Ibsen was arrested for Third Degree Misconduct Involving Weapons and Sixth Degree Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance.

He was remanded at the Seward Jail with no bond.
