Troopers Arrest One for Leaving the Scene of Four-Vehicle Accident

Saturday the 20th, just after 7:20pm, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a four-vehicle accident

As troopers were en route to the accident scene, Troopers were advised that a maroon Pontiac Grand Am left the scene after being involved in the accident.

Troopers later stopped a vehicle matching the description given at mile 152.5 Sterling Highway near Whiskey Gulch and identified the driver as 44-year-old Terry Shade of Anchor Point.

Trooper investigation revealed Shade’s driver’s license was revoked, and she had no liability insurance.

Troopers arrested Shade for leaving the scene of an accident, driving with license revoked,  and no liability insurance and remanded her to the Homer Jail.
