Those who want to pick up big bargains to the Lower 48 now have a chance. Alaska Airlines says a new eight-day sale has been launched featuring low fares to most of its destinations for travel before and after the holidays.

Tickets must be purchased by December 6th, between March 6th and March 10th for most cities.

Winter sale fares to Hawaii are valid between January 5th and March 10th, and to Mexico between January 10th and February 14th.

Hawaii and Mexico have become very popular destinations for Alaskans wanting to escape the cold for a few weeks or a few months.
