Tea Party Looks to Recruit Sarah Palin to Face Mark Begich

Posted: April 30, 2013 at 5:32 pm

The Tea Party is looking for support in recruiting Sarah Palin to face incumbent Mark Begich in the 2014 U.S. Senate race for Alaska. Unsurprisingly, the Alaska Democratic Party is furious, saying: “The Tea Party Leadership Fund is the latest Outside special interest group trying to buy Alaska’s Senate seat.”

ADP Chair Mike Wenstrup took the comments a step further, claiming “We need to defend Alaska’s resources, civil rights, and traditional values, not sell them to Outside interests like the Tea Party.”

On the other side, the Tea Party Leadership Fund says Sen. Begich current holds less than 50 percent of the vote, according to recent polling, and Alaska needs a strong candidate to “stand up to Harry Reid and his pals in the Senate to protect our Constitution.”

Yeah right. Palin already quit on the state once, Alaskans would be FOOLS to give her the chance to do it again.

Didn’t she move to Arizona to steal McCain’s seat? She won’t win anything from Alaska. Keep her down there.
