Suni Hilts Looking to Continue Board of Education Service

Sitting School Board member Suni Hilts has filed to continue to represent the Southern Kenai Peninsula on School board.

Hilts, of Seldovia, has served as a member of the local school board since 2003, as well as, serving as the chair person of the Seldovia Planning and Zoning commission since 1998, and is the President Elect of the Association of Alaska School Boards

Hilts says that children should be the top priority of the State of Alaska; their safety, their education, their health and their future. This has been her goal since she was first elected to the Kenai Peninsula Borough School Board in 2003. She says if elected, she will continue that advocacy, believing that all of us in this state are best served by graduating educated, competent young people, prepared to take their part in the growth of our state, economically, socially and culturally.
