Sullivan Says He’s ‘Dogged,’ ‘Determined’ for U.S. Senate

Former DNR Commissioner Dan Sullivan has confirmed he’s running for U.S. Senate, after resigning from the Governor’s administration last month.

Sullivan: “We have huge¬†opportunities¬†before us, especially the energy resurgence that’s taking place throughout part of Alaska, and throughout the United States. But Washington is broken. Not only does it ignore these opportunities, it undermines them.”

Sullivan joins several other Republican candidates hoping to unseat Democratic incumbent Mark Begich. Sullivan said it’s crucial the campaigns remain positive and present a vision, rather than tear one another apart.
