The Borough’s Anadromous Stream Protection Task Force is set to meet tonight. We spoke to Borough Chief of Staff and Task Force facilitator Paul Ostrander, who said that, the task force process has gained a lot of public input..
Ostrander: “You know, there’s been a lot of public interest, each one of the task force meetings has been open to the public, and we’ve received public testimony at each one of those. We’ve received over an hour of public testimony through the last five-months and the interest is very high. It’s good too, because through that public testimony you get a good idea about what some of those concerns are of the members of the public, in particular those folks that are going to be affected if this ordinance continues and that habitat district is expanded.”
Tonight’s meeting will begin at 7:00 at the Borough Assembly Chambers.
