Stolen Vehicles, Guns, Drugs Seized in Kenai

A stolen car, motorcycle, and guns were recovered yesterday, along with drugs that appeared ready for distribution, all thanks to a public tip.

 

The 2006 Chrysler 300 and 2003 Yamaha V-Star were reported at a residence on Beaver Loop Road. Troopers responded at noon with a search warrant, along with Kenai Police, Soldotna Investigators, and the Soldotna Drug Unit.

 

39-year-old Aaron Liskey of Kenai was arrested for Vehicle Theft I (X2), Theft II, MICS 2, MICS3, MICS 4 (X2), MIW 2, and MIW 3 (X5) .

 

33-year-old Paul Robson of Kasilof was also found on the property. Robson was at the center of the $38,000 heroin bust in Kasilof last October and was arrested for being in violation of conditions of release in a total of 6 pending drug cases. He’s also charged with hindering prosecution.

 

40-year-old Nathan Epling of Kenai was arrested on outstanding warrants for, Theft 3, and MICS 4 (X2), as well as a warrant for DWLR.

 

Liskey and Robson were remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility and held without bail pending  arraignment. Epling was remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility and held in lieu of $3,000 bail.
