Sterling Man Pleads Not Guilty to Multiple Child Porn Charges

Last week, 55-year-old Michael Padilla plead not guilty to 21 counts of child pornography distribution, four of child pornography possession and three counts of failure to register as a sex offender.

Investigators with the Alaska State Trooper allege that Padilla possessed more than 30 movie files containing pornographic images of children on a desktop computer and on a separate hard drive.

According to court documents, Padilla who is required to register as a sex offender, failed to report his change of homes, vehicle and job.

 

This case will be heard in Kenai District Courts on May 28th.
