Construction is continuing along the Sterling Highway this month, though the Department of Transportation says crews will not be working from July 3 through July 7, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Due to anticipated heavy traffic, only minimal work will be conducted from Wednesday, July 10 through Sunday, July 28, from milepost 45 to 58. Crews in that area will be focusing on the Anchor Point and Deep Creek project locations.
At all other times, the Department of Transportation asks drivers to plan for intermittent lane restrictions, pilot car operations and delays along the Sterling Highway.
