State Lawmakers Help Raise Money for Special Reunions for Returning Soldiers and their Children

Several Legislators are teaming up to help raise money through the Wounded Warriors program to provide unique opportunities for soldiers returning from overseas to have a special reunion with their families through Alaska hunting and fishing.

The fundraiser is a dance and silent auction that will take place on Wednesday February 27, 2013 in downtown Juneau.

Senate President Charlie Huggins says “These soldiers give up precious time with their loved ones to protect our freedom as Americans, something like this is the least we can do to give them some quality time with their families.”
