Soldotna Woman Arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest

Saturday night, just before 11:30pm, Alaska State Trooper dispatch received a report of a possible domestic assault.

Troopers responded to a residence in Soldotna and made contact with a person who said the woman causing the disturbance had fled the scene prior to AST arrival. Troopers were able to locate 49-year-old Laura Evans of Soldotna, in the nearby woods and due to her subsequent actions with AST; she was arrested on the charge of Disorderly Conduct, followed by Resisting Arrest.

Further investigation revealed the initial assault report was unfounded.  Evans was transported to Wildwood Pretrial and remanded on the aforementioned charges.

Alcohol was a factor with Evan’s behavior.
