Soldotna Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrests

Friday March 29th at roughly 12:50 a.m., officers with the Soldotna police stopped a vehicle on the Sterling Highway near Birch Street.

Soldotna Police Sgt. Duane Kant told us that the driver, identified as 26-year-old Codie Dockter of Kenai, was driving with a revoked driver’s license and in violation of a restricted driver’s license. Dockter was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and heroin with the intent to distribute.

Kant also told us that a passenger of the vehicle, 24-year-old Chrystal Miller of Kenai, was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and heroin with the intent to distribute.

Mr. Dockter was arrested for a felony probation violation, misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second and third degrees, driving while license revoked and driving in violation of a limited license. Miller was arrested for misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second and third degrees.

Both Docktor and Miller were taken to Wildwood and held without bail, and the investigation in this case is continuing.
