TheSoldotnaTeenCenteris very much still on the agenda, according to Councillor Brenda Hartman, but she said they’re still looking for a suitable space.

Hartman’s wish list for the space included a couple of thousand square feet of space and amenities for the kids, as well as being within walking distance of Soldotna schools.

I think instead of ‘AutoZone’ coming in that they should put that there. We already have 3 major parts places here in our little town. We do NOT have a teen center; Kenai has a rec center. . we do not have one; we have plenty, and I do mean PLENTY of bars around walking distance.. 1. Hooligans; 2. Maverick; and whatever that place is going up where BJ’s used to be.
