The City of Soldotna is opening its sealed bid land sale today with six properties on offer.
Director of Economic Development and Planning Stephanie Queen said today is the first day you can visit City Hall and pick up a packet of information on the parcels and make an offer…
Queen: “There’s a good range of properties here so we’ve got properties that are, obviously they’re all in city limits, but they’re mostly on water and sewer, they’re on paved roads or sidewalks, and then we’ve got a mix of zoning from commercial to multi-family residential to rural residential, so we hope to have a diversity of buyers with different interests looking at the properties.”
The City is pursuing a sealed bid process with the hopes it would reach more bidders than a one-off open air auction.
The process will run for 90 days. High bidders will be notified soon after the bids are opened on August 3rd.
