Parents of small children won’t have to pay administrative costs for immunizations next week in recognition of National Infant Immunization Week.
According to the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, public health centers will waive the cost of immunization for children up to two years and eleven months old from April 20 through April 25.
The week has been recognized since 1994. Locally, parents can receive free immunizations for their children at:
