Soldotna Man Injured in Single Vehicle Rollover on Seward Hwy

Tuesday July 16th at approximately 2:00pm, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a single vehicle accident at mile 26.5 of the Seward Hwy.

Subsequent investigation revealed that 49-year-old Kurtis Nills of Soldotna was driving a 2003 International pump truck belonging to Peninsula Pumping.

Mr. Nills approached a curve in the road and drifted off the paved portion of the highway causing his vehicle to hit a guardrail and overturn.  No sewage spilled from the vehicle.

Nills suffered significant injuries to his hand and was transported to Providence Hospital by LifeMed Helicopter.
