Soldotna Man Arrested for Assault after Small Chase

Yesterday afternoon, just before 11:30, the Alaska State Troopers in Soldotna received a 911 call regarding an instance of domestic violence in progress.

Troopers told us that 24-year-old 24-Paul Frary of Soldotna fled the scene prior to trooper arrival; however, with assistance from the Kenai Police Department, Frary was located in Kenai.

Further investigation revealed Frary had assaulted a 24 year old resident of Soldotna, damaged property in the residence and took away a cell phone from the victim while she was calling 911.

Frary was subsequently arrested and transported to Wildwood Pre Trial and remanded on the charges of Assault in the 4th degree(DV), Interfering with a report of D.V., and D.V. Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree.

Frary was held pending arraignment.
