Soldotna Councilmember Wants to See Change to Lease Lot Charges

Soldotna City Councilmember Brenda Hartman raised a concern at Wednesday night’s meeting that pertains to the lease lots at the Soldotna Airport. Hartman stated that the city’s appraisals for these lease lots came in 50 percent to 60 percent higher, this year. She discussed a proposed change to the leasing system due to these higher rates.

She said the Soldotna Airport Commission has recommended that the Soldotna City Council approve these changes. It’s expected to be part of the next council meeting.
