Forecasters are expecting rain on the Peninsula all week, leaving slick roads and parking lots.
Temperatures around the KSRM Weather Center were hovering around 35 degrees as of 6am this morning, with an overnight low of 32. Temperatures through the rest of the week are expected to stay between the high 20s and mid-40’s.
Brad Nelson with Central Emergency Services said drivers need to remain cautious…
Nelson: “Could potentially be freezing and freezing on top of the already icy roads so if everybody could please remember to slow down, leave a big buffer space between the vehicles in front of you and drive defensively, watch for people driving through intersections and not being able to stop. The defensive driving lessons from back in school.”
