Simulation Continues in Kenai

Those traveling in the Kenai area are going to notice military vehicles, emergency vehicles and other types of equipment, today, as a simulation continues in the Kenai community. Kenai Fire Chief Mike Tilly said, every three years, the city has to simulate a drill at the Kenai Municipal Airport. That drill is taking place today. He said mutual aid, police and others are called in for this drill. So, motorists in Kenai will see this emergency apparatus in the area. Also, the mock victims have to be transported, as part of this simulation, to Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna.
