Seward’s signature Polar Bear Pink Cheeks Triathalon that will happen on May 3 in Seward is open for registration.

Kinney: “That’s actually kind of the kick-off race that Pink Cheeks Triathalon and it’s kind of a mini-triathalon its not the full-on one, but it’s a 5k foot race, a 10k bike race, a 600 yard pool swim. All of the race information can be found at the City’s website.”
This year’s theme is luau and family friendly costumes are encouraged.
Kinney added that there are two different ways to sign up for the triathlon.
Kinney: “A neat thing about this triathlon is that you can do it as a solo event or you can register as a team and each of you, if you register as a team can do a race portion.”
Registration for a solo participant is $90, $180 for a three person team, and $105 for 17 and under teams. The deadline to register is April 31.
