Greenstreet said the driver of the Chevy Suburban was Sarah Brueckner of Moose Pass.  Seven children were also in the vehicle.  A two-year-old child in the Suburban received minor injuries.  No one else was hurt.  Greenstreet said the bad road conditions did play a part in the accident.

Lets get these women drivers off the road!!!

I’m with you Jeff! I bet she was probably going 100 mph when she lost control. I live in Kenai, and everytime I get tailgated, cut off, or near-hit its always a female driver behind the wheel.

Now this lady has to live with killing this man who was just trying to get home. Hope she’s proud of herself

Do I really need to get the statistics out? Look it up and you will find plenty of proof that women are perpetually safer drivers. No one called for men’s driver’s licenses to be revoked when Ron Allen hit and killed James Ries back in August. I don’t recall it happening when Lewis Hayes killed Jason Small, again back in August. In July, Richard Moffitt killed a couple on their motorcycle on the Seward Highway, again, no mention of gender based driving restrictions. How about you guys promote some actual safe driving suggestions that are non-gender based or crawl back into your holes. I can’t believe your comments were even published.

I’m with you Sara, funny thing is every time i get tail gated there is a man behind the wheel but im not going to say that EVERY man needs to get his licence revoked. Guess what? it was an accident and accidents happen ALL the time, dosnt matter the gender and really if it really wasen’t his time then he would have survived. my condolences to his family and friends. shame on you guys, this article was about a seward man losing his life and im sure Sarah Brueckner will never forget this. did you happen to read the last line where it said road conditions were a factor in the accident, could have happened to the best driver in the world. thank you!

  • Jeff says:

And yet another female in kenai caused a wreck last night. What will it take??? Using road conditions is just an excuse.

  • Sara says:

Umm, Jeff? How are you justifying your obviously sexist comments? Because taking the instances of two wrecks in the last few days is just dumb. If you’re able, do some research. While you’re entitled to your opinion, I still have to come to the conclusion that you’re not the brightest crayon in the box.
