Seward Highway Reduced to One Lane

The Seward Highway, between Mile 79 to Mile 112, has been reduced to one lane. Motorists returning to Anchorage from the Kenai Peninsula will experience a lengthy delay at this stretch of the highway near Portage.

Alaska State Troopers say the road restriction was caused by a power line falling near the highway. Updates on the status of this road restriction are available at 511.alaska.gov.
