Seward and Sterling Hwy Construction Continuing

Summer construction is continuing along the Sterling and Seward Highways, with some projects extending into October.


On the Seward Highway, be aware of 24-hour lane restrictions and reduced speed limit from MP 68 to 76.
 there will also be daily lane restrictions and flagging north of Lyon Creek Bridge to Potter Valley Road from 7am to 7pm through October.


On the Sterling Highway, the DOT is resurfacing the road between milepost 150 and 173. This will include lane restrictions, flagging operations and reduced speeds through August. To improve weekend traffic, the DOT says they will only be restriction this portion of the highway from 7pm on Sundays to 3pm on Fridays.


On the Sterling Highway from the Wye to Jim’s Landing, there will be lane restrictions, pilot car, and flagging operations from Milepost 45 to 58 from 8pm to 9am, Monday to Friday.
