Seward And Moose Pass Schools Closed Today Due To Snow

Posted: November 22, 2013 at 7:30 am

Following heavy snowfall last night into this morning, schools in Seward as well as Moose Pass are closed today.

We spoke with KPBSD Assistant Superintendent Dave Jones.

Jones: “In Homer and the Central Peninsula the roads are passable and we have snow but not enough that we can’t have school. In Seward and Moose Pass the roads were not passable this morning, so we’re closing the schools in Seward and Moose Pass but we’re going to keep the schools in Homer and the Central Peninsula open today.”

Once again schools in Seward and Moose Pass are closed however no other schools on the peninsula will be closed due to weather today.
