Senate Seat N Candidates Face Off

The two republican candidates facing of in next week’s primary election for senate seat N, which represents the North Kenai Peninsula, as well as, Sterling, Cooper Landing, Seward, Hope, Girdwood, and parts of South Anchorage were featured as a part of our series of candidate forums last night. Among the topics, we asked Cathy Giessel and Joe Arness about the legislature’s role when it comes to addressing low king salmon stocks

The winner of next week’s primary race will face Ron Devon who is running an independent campaign for the seat.
