The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District will be holding a planning session tomorrow to continue the discussions of their plan to reconfigure the Soldotna area schools. Dr. Steve Atwater, Superintendent of the district recently outlined the plan
Dr. Atwater: “Put forward by the Board, approved in April, and then beginning in August of 2014, we’ll have one high school in Soldotna, it will be for grades 10-12, located at the current SoHi facility. What the name of the high school is hasn’t be determined yet, what colors the students will wear hasn’t been determined, all that will be determined this winter. But yeah, it’s a go, all 10th-12th graders will be at SoHi, whether it will be called that, still remains to be seen.”
Tomorrows session will be held from 8:30am to 5:00pm at the Soldotna High School Library.
