Ribbon Cutting Held For CINGSA Yesterday


A ribbon cutting ceremony was held yesterday in Kenai for the Cook Inlet Natural Gas Storage Alaska facility located off Beaver Loop Road and Bridge Acces Road.  Rick Gentges is the CINGSA project manager



Injections began in April of this year, and CINGSA is intended to smooth supply and demand in the winter months, Enstar’s John Sims said that with facility online, that doesn’t mean that local utilities are out of the woods..



Enstar says that more producers are needed to ensure that there are not future shortages for south central utilities.
