Rep. Young Banks $630,000 For Re-Election

Don Young is the financial heavyweight in the race for U.S. House, with elections still a year away.

Young reported ending the last quarter with more than $630,000 on hand. He drew in more than $175,000 in the last quarter alone, with the majority of the funds from individual donations.

Rep. Young(R-AK): “Big thank you for their support and understanding that I’m the best person for the job, and I’ll continue to be that person as long as I run.”

That compares to 2012 candidate John Cox’s $870 on hand, and Democrats Forrest Dunbar with $18,500 and Matt Moore’s $2,400.

Answer this One Please. WHY do Alaskans keep Re-Electing a Representative that has the Worst
Voting Record of the entire House of Representatives ? You have to be Present on the House Floor in Order to Vote. Our Single Representative is not there to Vote. Look at his attendance rocord. It’s a Mystery to Me ? SPW

Good point SPW! I think we need someone in office that will stand for and next to “The People”, not the president or anyone or anything else. You work for us Mr. Young and I’ve voted for you in the past and would like to continue voting for you. I think it’s time to show us why we voted for you, or some changes have to be made! No matter how much campaign monies you have!
