Recent sunny afternoons haven’t felt too much like springtime, with biting winds felt around Kenai. Michael Lawson is in the National Weather Service office in Anchorage…
Lawson: “Right now, currently we are experiencing more of a early winter type pattern with a cold, cold northerly wind across most of Southcentral. We’re more likely to see that in the middle of winter, when you would get a deep Arctic air mass come down from the central Interior.”
The NWS said precipitation is expected early next week, which may turn into rain.
