Proposed Soldotna Retail Development Delayed

With the announcement earlier this month that the Lowe’s store in Kenai closed, the attention of many in the area has turned to other retail developments that could be coming to the area. We asked Soldotna City Manager Larry Semmens if he’s had any updates on the proposed retail development coming to the “Y” in Soldotna.

Semmens has also said that the he’s heard other rumors about businesses coming to the area; however, right now they’re just rumors.
