Cinderella’s Closet was a huge hit in the lead-up to Prom season, but creator Meggean Bos said her work’s not done yet; she’s hoping local girls will donate their dresses back to the Closet for next year’s cohort.
Bos: “So we’ll be open around the same time next year, so it will be early 2014, and until that time, we’ll take donations and we put the donations inside in a storage area.”
Bos said dresses don’t have to be dry cleaned, and the Closet will accept dresses or accessories which need alterations or repairs. This year, nine peninsula schools benefited from Cinderella’s Closet, and Bos said they gave away dresses of all styles and colors, there was only one thing she’d like to see more of…
Bos: “Gosh, probably sizes 10, 12, 14, 16. Those are all some sizes that we definitely could use more of.”
