Alaskans applying early for their PFDs this year experienced glitches with the State website, as the signature page froze or showed errors. The PFD Division puts the number of affected applications at 16,000.
According to Dividend officials, the applications are still valid and simply require a signature to be submitted before the dividends are distributed in October.
Applicants also had trouble reaching the Pick.Click.Give page, but Program Manager Heather Beaty said you can go back and fix that any time…
Beaty: “You can log back in to your PFD application on the state website, and you’ll see a green button on the right-hand side of the website that says ‘Add or Change a Donation,’ and it takes just a few seconds to log back in and add a new contribution.”
